Timothy Klein has become a fixture in the Knoxville dance scene.  He has recently been calling at dances along the East Coast.  His calling is clear and concise and he brings a lot of fun to his audiences.

Playing with Fyre is a very unique, dynamic contra dance band! With George Paul on piano, Rob Zisette on fiddle, and joined by our own Alexander Mitchell on mandolin and fiddle, they are one of the most popular dance bands on the contra dance circuit–at contra dance weekends, as well as local dances.  They bring a  blend of trad, jazz, oldtime, funk and blues and will take you on an emotionally driven dance journey.

The Bumper Car Pavilion is a wonderful covered open-air space with a nice wooden floor.

Tickets are $15 payable at the door either by cash or Venmo.  

Please provide a valid email address when you register at the door.  We will add you to our email list and inform you about future dances.  You can unsubscribe at any time.

Unless you opt-out, we will also inform you if there has been a report of Covid infection.  Please let us know when you register. 

Covid policies:

This is a mask-optional event.  We recommend vaccinations, boosters and masks, but they are not required.  If you are symptomatic, or have tested positive, or if you have recently been exposed to someone who tested positive for Covid, please stay home.
