Masks are optional.  We strongly urge all dancers to be vaccinated and receive the most recent boosters, but do not require them.  Note: As circumstances change, we may revise these policies.  If you are having symptoms, or if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, or may be positive, please attend the class via Zoom for the next week or 2.  If you attend the class and then test positive, please let me know immediately, so I can inform those who attended the class (without identifying you).

For out-of-towners and those who cannot attend in person on Wednesdays, we will be on Zoom.  Here is the link

The Glen Echo Folk Dancers have been dancing since 1983.  We have always maintained a very welcoming atmosphere, lots of great music and dancing, occasional parties (sometimes with live music), and, most importantly, great people to share an evening with. Plan to have a wonderful time, learn some dances, listen to some wild music, and meet some new friends. No partner or skill is necessary. Dress comfortably. Smile. If you would like to be added to our email list and receive notices of upcoming events, please email Jamie

The Glen Echo International Folk Dancers are produced by Dancing Planet Productions  and co-sponsored by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington and the World Music and Dance Institute.

Admission $10
